WEDNESDAY MARCH 8
Joe finds GOD on our way to Tokyo.
We packed up our stuff and hopped aboard the 200mph Shinkansen (bullet train) Northeast to Tokyo.
We arrived in Tokyo late in the afternoon and found our way through the subway system, finally arriving at
our hotel in the Azabu-Juban district. My good friend from high school, Erin, met us when she got off work and
walked us back to she and her husband Zach's cool little apartment down the street.
The spooky entrance to Erin and Zach's housing complex - called Ghost Hill. Many locals believe it to be
haunted, what with its graveyard right outside their window, and some of their friends won't even visit because
of this. Nothing supernatural went down when we were there.
Yeah. This is Erin and Zach's backyard. I've got a snow-filled parking lot.
We walked to get some dinner at a ramen restaurant.
L to R: Joe, Erin, Sarah, Zach, me, Jim.
Amazing doorway on the walk back to our hotel.
